Ashlie Campbell is making her way up in 2025!

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business, maybe you want to protect your country but Ashlie decided at a very early age that she wanted to be an athlete “of sorts”.

Through many different trial and tribulations her path led her to being a professional equestrian in the California Horse Racing Industry as a travel-assistant and exercise rider for leading trainers of the United States West California circuit. This taught her discipline, hard work, and dedication to herself, sport and peers, so much - that after an ICU horse incident she returned to the sport because her dreams were not yet done. Returning she went on to gallop 23 Breeder’s Cup horses and 1 Kentucky Derby horse, making her dreams into her reality.

Through the racing world Ashlie was introduced to Alliance San Diego to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Johnny Faria. With very little history in martial arts but the idea of becoming a professional MMA fighter, she indulged full force. Committing to practice 2-3 times a day while commuting 40 minutes each way, nothing could stop the drive she carried. The fuel to the fire is her saying, “If I can get double-barrel kicked by a racehorse, I can be a champion”.

Little did she know, almost two years later to the date, Ashlie faced her second ICU racehorse injury where she mentally had to face the forced time off from the gym and commit to another time consuming healing road. Her saying never leaving her mind. Instead of steering away, she not only chose to prevail but now enjoys the racehorses as a freelance rider and is fully immerse into her training. What she didn’t know in those dark days - was what doors would open in the Martial Arts world.

While healing from surgery her Head Striking Coach and partner - Joshua Fishman established her fundamentals in striking. Working out in her garage, then venturing outside and into the gym setting again, to eventually landing in their own gym, 360 Combat and Recovery based in Carlsbad, California.

What was once looked at as taunting training actually helped establish slowing down and building a strong fundamental base. As her healing increased so did her technique. Eventually adding MMA coach Jake Hesselgrave of Saber Martial Arts and CAS Style Coach Zac Savage from Premier to the roster she now has a power house team behind her.

Currently the Cali Muay Thai IKF 125lb Campion & WBC Muat Thai Pan-American Bronze Medalist the accolades are just beginning. With just under 20 fights, 2025 looks to be the year where her name will be known as she immerses not only in Semi-Professional Muay Thai but will debut into the cage to compete MMA.

From the mind,

to the present.

Every person deserves a chance at their dreams. No matter how wild, outrageous, or hard it is to others .

Ashlie’s motto is: “With manifestation, hard work & dedication you will make your dreams into your reality”.
